Your curiosity.
Your business.

CurioCade does not require an account. This version has no advertising scripts, payment system, or site analytics installed.

Visits to the social bar

The bar shares your chosen name, avatar, seat, drink, microphone status, waves, and emotes with guests in your room. Your microphone and camera are off when you join. Nearby guests can hear you after you turn on your microphone. Video is shared with a guest only after an invitation is accepted. CurioCade does not record or transcribe these conversations. Your browser may exchange connection information, including IP addresses, with other guests when establishing a direct audio or video connection.

Room membership and visit-level blocks last for the visit. Avatar preferences are saved in your browser’s local storage. Clearing this site’s browser data removes those preferences.

Feedback

If you send feedback, CurioCade saves the message, category, bar name, submission time, and a receipt identifier so it can review your suggestion or issue. The form does not attach your guest name or ask for contact details. Include only information you want to share with CurioCade. Unsent drafts are kept in this browser until sent or cleared. Submitted feedback is private and is not displayed to other guests. Connection addresses are temporarily used to limit repeated submissions.

Your birthday

Life in Numbers calculates results in your browser. The birth date you enter is not saved by the application or sent to CurioCade. Downloading a story card creates the image on your device; the card does not contain your exact birth date.

Game progress

The Butterfly Button stores the identifiers of endings you have discovered in your browser’s local storage. This information stays on that browser and is not uploaded by the application. Clearing this site’s browser data removes it. Other game results last only while their page is open.

Sharing and outside links

Sharing a result opens your device’s share menu when available, or copies a result and page link. You choose where to send it. Museum and history sources open external websites with their own privacy practices.

Hosting

The website is delivered through Cloudflare. Like other hosting providers, Cloudflare processes connection information, such as IP addresses and request details, to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Future changes

If we introduce advertising, analytics, or payments, this page will be updated to describe those services and any relevant choices.
